Let’s look back to 2012.  As you prepare your content and grow your online presence (surely your resolution), this may help give you an idea of what fellow solar professionals are clicking on after being aggregated by the SolarWakeup.

What were the overall trends?

  • Greentechmedia.com had the most articles and the most clicks (almost 10% of all clicks)
  • Forbes.com came in close 2nd with the amount of clicks and articles
  • BusinessInsider.com had the highest clicks per article by almost 30%
  • HuffingtonPost.com had many articles but much fewer clicks per story
  • Overall, readers didn’t click on op-ed articles and preferred content based articles
  • Based on the most clicks on articles, your article preference were as follows in order

  3. Rankings
  4. Finance
