SEIA is attempting to take a page out of Henry Kissinger’s playbook and make peace in the solar trade war.  With a global reach, the solar trade schemes reach beyond the US borders.  The key will be to make the peace process a global discussion on what is best for the solar market, the participants and most of all those buying solar energy.

This is your SolarWakeup for September 23rd, 2013

On Friday, the Obama administration announced the upcoming regulations on CO2 emissions for power plants, with an obvious target of coal generation.  With almost all power plants on deck being natural gas and not coal, the impact may not necessarily be on future plants but speed up the replacement of the existing portfolio.  What impact will this have on energy rates, or societal benefits calculation for ratepayer impact?
