The overlap between utilities and solar companies continue to expand. Edison International makes an acquisition of SoCore which is akin to the earlier acquisition of Smart Energy by NextEra Energy. With the deregulated business segments going into larger utility holding companies, what does that say about the regulated utilities expectations on the net metering fights?
