Geothermal Smackdown? Interesting headline out of the BLM where a 265 thousand acre lease auction is taking place for geothermal developers but NextEra is saying that some of the parcels overlap. When asked to defer that section, BLM said no according to the Reuters reporting. In a separate headline, NextEra apparently also donated $4mm to the ballroom.
