This is your SolarWakeup for January 30th, 2013.

Wakeup Thoughts: Congrats to Richard Kaufmann on his new task within the New York State Executive.  As the energy czar, I am confident that we will see a great future for solar in NY.  In humorous news, students at the University of Minnesota should stay away from Mr. Westgard’s class, since learning should be about the future not a repeat of the past.

This is your SolarWakeup for January 29th, 2013.

Wakeup Thoughts: Yesterday was the most viewed day since SolarWakeup started, thank you for your support.  In other news, I am glad to see China has stepped up and stopped the trade war from a full cycle.  Interesting to see the FiT politics coming out of LA, let’s see if solar finds its way into the political races.

This is your SolarWakeup for January 28th, 2013.

Wakeup Thoughts: Here comes the response from California utilities about last week’s net metering benefit report.  As expected, there is significant disagreement as to what the cost or benefit is to the CA ratepayers.  Innovation and evolution are the enemy of the status quo.
